Aboriginal Culture
To begin with, one can not define the Aboriginal Culture easily. It is not one single, homogeneous society. To give a broad overview of such a great and vast culture, it is important to note that groups (of aboriginies) differ in aspects of their cultural and social organisation, in the Northern Territory for example, there is over 100 different languages spoken. These are totally separate languages, much unlike English for example.
Likewise, music and dance, and particularly Aboriginal Dream Time Art and ceremonies differed dramatically between regions.
The culture is a rich and vibrant one with a lot of sacred elements to it. All beliefs and stories of The Dreaming are individually owned and kept secure by individual members of a language group ensuring that they are protected for all people. However due to the availability of Aboriginal Dream Time Art, and Aboriginal Dreamtime Artists in Australia, it is possible to see the beauty and wonder of the Aboriginal culture, particular with regards to the many intriguing stories from the Dream Time.
